1969 Pontiac GTO

I bought this GTO in Tulsa Oklahoma from an Electrician in November of 1980, it was painted Maroon and had the original 4 Speed and sheet metal from the door back. This is an original Limelight Green car with very little options. The owner I bought it from had replaced the original motor with a 73 400 and the original rear end with a 3.73 12 bolt limited slip. A 68 Maroon front clip had been put on it before he got it, and someone had taken the original seats out. I paid $800 dollars for it.

I took it to our family dealership shortly after; Kuykendall Pontiac in Muskogee Oklahoma, and switched out the motor with a 350 that was in my first Dark Green 69 GTO. It is in my garage today waiting for the current motor project to be finished. Through the years I have painted twice, added several options, and made it a clone Judge. If I had to do it again, I would skip the Judge part but the holes are already in the trunk so well enough left alone.

Original Title after transferred into my name.

Billing invoice, received from Pontiac before PHS existed.

Some records of drivetrain changes to this car.

350 put in January 1980 with the help of Eddie Garcia.

Shortly after I painted it back Lime Light Green.

My first tripower attempt on the 350.

The 389, the meanest motor I built but never ran it with slicks.

 389 again.

400 with automatic some time around 1987.

 455 with Offy 2x4.

The same but a little later.

 Current 428 project.

 428 Just before install.

 Working on it.
