Here I will keep up to date on the engine build.

I have the date correct intake and all parts complete.

And one of the bad points, the trans. On the way back from the Borden show I slipped up to 65 MPH and found to have a nasty vibration coming from the mid drive train area; I suspected a bad U joint, but turned out someone had incorrectly  used silicone on the front bearing snout causing a like and driving God knows how many miles running at about 5% fluid in the case. The main damage was the pinion and rear bushing; causing the vibration, I suspect it was only a few hundred miles away from complete failure.
